Sludge Dryers Manufacturers in india
The paddle-type sludge dryer has two blade shafts that fit together, a W-shaped casing with a jacket, a base for the machine and a gearbox part. The dryer uses steam, hot water or heat transfer oil to heat the sludge. The whole drying process happens in a closed space, and the organic volatile and smelly gas is sent to a sealed exhaust gas treatment device to keep the environment clean.
Principle of the Paddle Type Sludge Dryer
The dryer uses steam, hot water, or heat transfer oil as the heating medium. The shaft end has a rotary joint that lets the heating medium in and out.
There are two paths for the heating medium to take. One goes into the jacket of the dryer casing and the other goes into the blade shaft’s inner cavity. This heats both the body and the blade shaft at the same time, and it also heats and dries the sludge by conduction heating.
The screw feeder keeps sending the dried sludge into the dryer feeding port. When the sludge gets into the body, the blade turns it over and stirs it. The heating interface is always being updated so that it touches the body and the blade. It gets hot enough to make the moisture on the surface of the sludge evaporate. The blade shaft turns in a spiral path, moving the sludge toward the discharge port. The stirring continues during the transportation, which keeps the water that is leaking out of the sludge from evaporating. Finally, the discharge port lets out a dry, even, and acceptable product.
